What is Ubuntu?

"I am because we are"

The Ubuntu philosophy asserts that it is community which gives human beings their humanity, and that a person is a person through other people.

PoWBoT Mascot

PoWBoT & the CBAF

We built PoWBoT – a Telegram bot that verifies and rewards Proof of Work for the Circular Bitcoin Africa Fund.

What is PoWBoT?

A bot that rewards real-world Bitcoin adoption. Projects submit videos of Bitcoin payments at local merchants. If approved, sats flow to the merchant, the project, and the reviewer via Lightning.

What is the CBAF?

The Circular Bitcoin Africa Fund (CBAF) – FBCE's dedicated program supporting 42+ Bitcoin Circular Economy projects across Africa, backed by Bitcoin Beach.

Our Role

Bitcoin Ubuntu built and maintains PoWBoT. We also provide technical support to all 42+ CBAF member projects and contribute our skills to the broader mission of Bitcoin adoption in Africa.
